Breakthrough solutions for scientific and technological development, innovation and digital transformation

On April 17, Long An People's Committee coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City National University to organize a scientific conference on "Breakthrough solutions for science, technology development, innovation and digital transformation."

Attending and chairing the conference were Member of the Party Central Committee, Director of Ho Chi Minh City National University - Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Hai Quan; Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Nguyen Van Quyet, Head of the Steering Committee on implementing Resolution No. 57 on the development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation of the province.

Also attending were Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman in charge of the Provincial People's Council - Mai Van Nhieu, Member of the Steering Committee on implementing Resolution No. 57 on the development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation of the province; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation, administrative reform and Project 06 - Pham Tan Hoa.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Quyet emphasized that the implementation of Resolution No. 57 is a strategic task, not only to improve science and technology capacity, but also to create a breakthrough in economic development, administrative reform and improve people's quality of life.

Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet said that promoting the application and development of science and technology, promoting innovation and creativity and implementing digital transformation in a synchronous and effective manner is an urgent requirement. This not only helps us to maximize advantages and solve development bottlenecks but also creates new growth drivers and improves people's quality of life.

Director of Ho Chi Minh City National University - Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Hai Quan highly appreciated the development potential of Long An province, and wished to accompany Long An province in areas such as training high-quality human resources, scientific research, technology transfer and innovation.

The conference had many in-depth discussions, focusing on key issues such as the current situation and potential for science, technology, innovation and digital transformation development in Long An; application of digital technology in state management, socio-economic development and improving people's quality of life; training and developing high-quality human resources to meet the requirements of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution; building an innovation and startup ecosystem; etc.
