Long An Provincial Youth Union Council organizes the 84th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Union

On May 11th, Long An Provincial Youth Union Council organized a program to celebrate the 84th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Union (May 15th, 1941 - May 15th, 2025).
At the ceremony, Deputy Secretary of Long An Provincial Youth Union Council, Chairman of the Vietnam Student Association of Long An province, Chairman of the Council of the Young Pioneers of Long An province, Director of the Provincial Youth Center - Pham Van Hau reviewed the tradition, honor and pride when the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Union spent 84 years growing up with the country with the examples of heroic and brave members and young people who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
Mr. Pham Van Hau also said that currently, the whole province has 333 unions, more than 150 thousand members. Hundreds of specialized cadres and collaborators with full capacity take care of the development of the young generation of the country.
Every year, we train and help nearly 30,000 children join the union, nearly 6,000 team members are added to the Youth Union; 60,000 Uncle Ho's Good Children titles were given; billions of dong were donated to help friends overcome difficulties, and hundreds of thousands of sets of school supplies, books, clothes and means of transportation were presented to children in difficult circumstances.
From 2018 to present, Long An Provincial Youth Union Council has mobilized students and members throughout the province to carry out the Provincial Youth Project - "Red Scarf" House in each school year, building 5 "Red Scarf" houses each year (worth 80 million VND/house, total cost of 400 million VND taken from the Provincial Youth Project) to support students with housing difficulties. The project has been recognized and highly appreciated by the Central Youth Union Council, considered a characteristic of Long An in recent years.
On this occasion, Long An Provincial Youth Union Council awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives with outstanding achievements in the Creative Painting Exhibition Contest with the theme "The Country connected in One Strip" to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30th , 1975 - April 30th , 2025).
In which, Chau Thanh District and Thu Thua District Teams won the Encouragement Prize, Tan An City Teams won the Third Prize, Ben Luc District Teams won the Second Prize and Duc Hoa District Teams won the First Prize./.
